Are you sure that dmg done gives you more chance? I doubt that. Drop rates are fixed and posted on event topic 30% for void tile, 10% for paint and 5% for book. Dmg is just used as looting rights thing. Once you pass that, your every char has same chance of getting rewards as anyone else, only difference is that you have more chances. Just like a dice roll, you need 5 on dice to get reward, you roll your 1 dice i roll my 3 dices

I understood rules like I can use only 1 char for combat and others for passive support - eg stealth healer for res at champs. Not like this - thats like Singleplayer with extra steps.

BTW - drop rate is % (based on fixed change and ?highest? luck), then it is rolled based on dmg done. So its team od 3 vs solo player 75% vs 25%. = Yes, your hunting party impacts other players and there is chance, everything will be boosted by 300% bc of this. No, thanks.

That makes sense, but.. I have yet to get a drop from the spawn.. so.. *shrug* not sure.

This statement is the most accurate.

Some "point-based" systems take into account luck and damage did. These drops, and all other Champion bosses / peerless for that matter, simply require that you have looting rights (are on the loot drop list) for a chance at these.

So 30% of the time if a blackrock pool tile was to drop it simply checks the loot list and picks someone.

So yes, running more characters would increase the odds also as now you are on the list 3x instead of 1x.
