Active Event The Necromantic Corruption of Umbra Starts on October 1st - Guard Zones will be disabled at this time.

The necromancers of Umbra were trying to unlock the secrets of new spells when they accidentally unleashed a corruption on the city! Help cleanse the city of this corruption to return Umbra to a state of peace.


Gather up corruptions around the city and bring them to the purifier. Double-click on the purifier to deposit any corruptions you have collected.


Every time you cleanse a corruption in the purifier, there is a chance to earn an event spellbook.

• This spellbook will appear right in your bag, and you will get a system message and sound letting you know you got one.
• The spellbook spawns in the same property combination as past event spellbooks but this year there is a new Luck version that can be obtained.

Once 100 corruptions are purified, a corrupted necromancer summons will appear! Defeat these vile creatures for a chance at various rewards:

• Rewards will drop into one person's backpack each time:
  • 20% chance for a piece of equipment (Tabard, Sash, Off-Hand)
  • 100% chance for a decorative statue, pet dye, or wall climbing zombie to drop

At the end of the event, the top 5 purifiers will receive a unique title! You can view the leaderboard by clicking on the purifier once and selecting "Leaderboards."


Rumor has it Mardoth has returned in an undead state! While he has not appeared yet, rumor has it his tomb (north of Umbra) will become quite active as we get closer to Halloween, so stay tuned for more information as October progresses.


This event uses some newer graphics and creature models. Client files will need to be up to date to see these items and creatures. Going forward, I have to highly recommend the use of ClassicUO or Orion, as the older assistants for the Classic Client are no longer supported.

The traditional Halloween content has been activated.

This includes:

• Trick of Treating off NPCs (GM Beggers get chance at decorations)
• Pumpkin Picking and Carving
  • Check out the fields east of Skara Brae for a chance to pick pumpkins with the names of your shard mates.
  • Watch out for the evil Pumpkin Head when pumpkin picking!
    • Has a chance to drop carvable pumpkins, carving deeds, and a rare chance to drop the Pumpkin Rowboat.
• Player Zombies
  • When killed, there is a chance that your player zombie will be reanimated in the town of Umbra.
    • Player Zombies have a chance to drop a piece of the Zombie Skeleton Armor set and also bone containers named after the player.

Active Event - Heritage Seasons - Automated events during select months

We will be adding the following encounters to an automated system that starts and ends on the first and last days of the months listed. Current Setup Treasures of Tokuno = July through August Champion spawn can be used to gather ToTs. Treasures of Kotl = May through June MORE INFORMATION...

An undead invasion is happening around the tomb of Mardoth. Beat it back to summon Mardoth back into this world.

The invasion can be completed once an hour, and a gate to quickly travel there has been set up on top of the Umbra bank.

Undead Mardoth has a 25% chance to drop the following on his CORPSE:

• Random Hair Dye
• Mardoth's Cincture (+1 extra HPR)
• Mardoth's Tangle (+1 extra MR)
