Expired Event Sea Market Siege - 8/18 through 9/1 2025

An armada of pirate ships and plunderbeacons has been spotted heading towards the Sea Market in Trammel,

A quest giver will appear at the New Haven docks. Accepting the quest will give you the option to instantly travel to the Sea Market, or you can choose to sail there yourself. While you can mark and recall to the Sea Market on Heritage, this ability will be turned off during the event. Sea Market boat "parking timers" will also be in effect during this time. Idled boats will be moved.

Complete the quest to earn various unique equipment and decorations while also advancing the shard closer to summoning a pirate lord. Every time a player completes the quest, it will increase the count needed to spawn one of these bosses. (count to spawn will be displayed on a pirate flag located at the Sea Market and near the various quest givers at the docks)

Visit Leo the Sea Market Fisherman to get started at the New Haven docks!

He will instruct you to go to the Sea Market, where you will have to kill various enemy pirates that have taken it over!

There are many dangers at the Sea Market, so be very careful!

When you complete the quest, you will be rewarded with some pirate loot:

• You will almost always get one piece of "Pirate Booty". This DECORATIVE ONLY item has a chance to spawn in almost any ItemID in the game!
• a 20% chance to get a Sea Market Fishing Pole (random Fishing skill bonus and regen bonus)
• 500gp piles of gold x3
• Some gems.
• You will progress the shard once towards summoning the Pirate Lord.

Every time a player completes the quest, it brings the shard one step closer to summoning the Pirate Lord. To see where the shard currently stands, check out the Pirate flag. There are two located at the New Haven Docks and Sea Market.

Once the flag hits 50, it will spawn the Pirate Lord at the Sea Market and reset to 0!

The Pirate Lord has a 30% chance to drop in a player's backpack one of the following:

• Pirate Lord's Sash
• Pirate Lord's Hat
• Pirate Lord's Boots

Or he will always at least drop a decorative ship model named after a player ship currently at sea.

Once or twice a year, we raffle off the Lucky Gold Steed and the Lucky Sovereign Steed.

• This year, the raffle vaults are located at the New Haven Docks.
• One raffle vault only accepts Gold, and the other only accepts Sovereigns.
  • Ticket Prices Are:
    • Gold - 1gp per ticket. (Unlimited tickets, per account, can be purchased)
    • Sovereigns - 1 Sovereign per ticket. (Unlimited tickets, per account, can be purchased)

The raffle ends on 9/1/2025 @ 6pm EST, and the winners will have the mounts automatically placed within their bank box or backpack. Good luck, Heritage!

Known issue:

• There is a small chance that the pirate booty decorative item you obtain from the quest will use an Item ID that the client can not see.
• If you put them all aside, I will set up a weekend towards the end of the event where I will delete the box with the invalid item, and I will generate a new random piece of pirate booty in its place. Happy hunting!

The return of the Gambling Idol:

• During the event, keep a little extra gold in your backpack from the slain pirates and try your luck on the Gambling Idol—500gp per roll.
• Located at the New Haven Docks.
  • Can win Sovereigns(uncommon), a special set of dice(rare), or the Current Jackpot(very rare).
    • If you win the Jackpot, you will also be awarded the reward title "The Gambler".

Summer Fishing Contest!

August 24th - August 31st 2025

• Players will have to catch a Big Fish
• 
• There was some confusion in years past; there are many named fish now, but for this contest, it must be the one pictured.
• The Big Fish must have been caught by you and have your character's name on it.
• The Big Fish MUST have a date of 8/24 - 8/31/2025 on it!
  • The fish record dates based on UTC/Server time. Say [time in-game.

• Players will then have until 9/5/2025 to reach out to me and turn in their biggest fish.
• Players are only allowed to submit ONE FISH PER PERSON(IP)
• To submit a fish, buy a bag and a book. Put the fish and book inside the bag. Inside the book, write your player's name. Reach out to me on Discord or the forums with the name of your fisherman.
• The winners will be announced shortly after.

Fish will be judged by WEIGHT. The TOP THREE players who turn in the biggest Big Fish, with the correct dates on it, will receive a rare fishing pole!

Out of those top three, the player who turns in the BIGGEST fish will receive a special title deed with the title "Summer Fishing Tournament Champion" (in the event of a tie, two will be handed out)

Everyone who submits a big fish will be rewarded with a participation trophy noting their submission, the weight, and date, and the year.

As a reminder, it is against the rules to AFK fish as you are "gathering". I will be doing extra patrols during the tournament, and anyone found AFK fishing, besides the normal penalties, will not be allowed to participate in the contests.
