Player Vendor changes planned for November

Can you please provide more details on the planned changes to player vendors in November? I was reading the August Patch Notes and saw this:

While not particularly useful at this very moment, we expect this to change in November when we revert Player Vendors to charge based on the production UO equation.

So, for us retailers:

Ttraditional vendors will revert to a fee% based on list items at November 1st.
Seems a no brainer that we will all have to tear down all our vendors/prices and set them up again on commission vendors. Is it possible to systematically convert existing vendors to commission vendors when this happens? I can see a lot of vendors dropping inventory due to this. Good to be a vendor mall owner!

Magus, we were having this discussion yesterday on Discord. Take a look at this link and scroll down to where it talks about the commission vendor...

What I get from it is that you don't want to make ALL of your vendors commission vendors. Most can stay as they are, because they will make enough gold to warrant the daily charge and you don't want the vendor to take a commission from those items that sell regularly. For example, commission vendors would be stupid for me selling BoS and powder of trans, but it would make sense for a vendor that sees high-end rares and artifacts sitting on a vendor for long periods of time at high prices.

My recommendation is to stop collecting money from your vendors NOW so that they don't go poof. As we get closer to November, remove really expensive items that would drive up the cost of your vendor. After the transition, determine which vendors need to be switched to commission vendors.
