Expired Event Heritage Summer Festival July 15th - August 15h

Heritage Summer Festival July 15th - August 15th. Delucia Commons Trammel.

This year players can earn tickets for completing various daily quests and participating in events. Tickets can be exchanged for various rewards at the Summer Festival Grounds in Delucia.

Ways to earn tickets:

• Daily quests
  • 4 quests can be completed daily, per character, for various amounts of tickets. The quest givers can be found in the Festival Grounds and are uniquely marked.
• Orcish invasion of Papua
  • The big dinosaurs now roaming T2A have forced the orcs to band together and move out of their traditional hunting grounds. Their attacks on Papua must be beaten back. Attacks occur once an hour and the boss has some unique prizes and tickets to loot.
• Participating in various events during the festival:
  • There will be a posted fishing contest, monster bash, and more. Tickets will be rewarded for participating.

As always a few smaller additions and rewards will get added after the first week of the event to keep things feeling fresh. Remember to check this post from time to time as new content/changes are noted.


Important Dates
July 15th - Festival starts.
August 1st - Fishing contest dates and prizes announced.
August 8th - Heritages 1st Players Rare Festival. (More to follow)
August 15th - Festival ends.
September 1st - reward NPC and any remaining tickets/points purged from the shard.

With the start of the Summer Festival will also start the Orcish invasion of Papua. During these next few weeks, the guards will be disabled in this town.

Every hour players can band together to beat back the orcish forces assaulting the town. The Orcish Field Marshal that spawns at the end will always drop 10 Festival Tickets and a decorative palisade.

The boss also has a 20% chance to drop a unique statue and a 10% chance to drop a unique robe.

The Summer Festival has now begun.

The event quests were designed to be done with other adventurers so consider reaching out to new members of the shard via chat before embarking from time to time! I am sure some would appreciate tagging along.

• Twice a year we raffle off the Lucky Gold Steed and Lucky Sovereign steed.
• One raffle box only accepts Gold and the other only accepts Sovereigns.
  • Ticket Prices Are:
    • Gold - 1gp per ticket. (Unlimited tickets, per account, can be purchased)
    • Sovereigns - 1 Sovereign per ticket. (Unlimited tickets, per account, can be purchased)

The raffle ends on 8/31/2021 @ 9am EST and the winners will have the mounts automatically placed within their bag or bank box. Good luck Heritage!

The fishing contest has begun! It will run from the 1st to the 7th of August. Please continue reading below for all pertinent information:

• Players will have to catch a Yellowtail Barracuda
• 
• The fish must have been caught by you and have your character's name on it.
• The Yellowtail Barracuda MUST have a date of 8/1 - 8/7/2021 on it!
• Players will then have until 8/9/2021 to reach out to me and turn in their biggest fish.
  • Players are only allowed to submit ONE FISH PER PERSON(IP)
  • To submit a fish buy a bag and a book. Put the fish and book inside the bag. Inside the book write your player's name. Reach out to me on Discord or the forums with the name of your fisherman.
  • The winners will be announced shortly after.

Everyone who partakes and turns in the required fish will receive a special gift.

Fish will be judged by WEIGHT. The TOP THREE players who turn in the biggest Yellowtail Barracuda, with the correct dates on it, will receive a rare fishing pole and tackle box.

Out of those top three, the player who turns in the BIGGEST fish will receive a special title deed with the title "Summer Fishing Tournament Champion"
(in the event of a tie two will be handed out)


As a reminder, it is against the rules to AFK fish as you are "gathering". We will be doing extra patrols during the tournament and anyone found AFK fishing, besides the normal penalties, will not be allowed to participate in these fishing contests.

Summer Festival Fishing Contest Results:

• 1st place = Old Boner - 194 Stones
• 2nd place = MineSmith - 190 Stones
• 3rd place = Graybeard - 182 Stones

1st place will receive a special title deed with the title "Summer Fishing Tournament Champion".

The top 3 will each receive a special fishing pole, tackle box, decorative fishing bear, and taxidermy kit to display their catch.

Everyone who participated will receive a decorative fishing bear and taxidermy kit to display their catch.

The rewards will be placed in the bag you submitted your fish in, which will then be placed in that character's bank box. I have begun handing them out and they will all be handed out within the hour.

The Summer Festival Quest NPCs will be removed shortly before the 7am EST restart on 8/16/2021.

• Rockwell (ticket merchant) will be moved near the stables of Luna Bank.
  • He will remain until September 1st and tickets can continue to be redeemed until then.
• The Lucky Gold and Sovereign Steed raffle stones will also be moved near the stables of Luna Bank at this time also.
• Tickets and ticket balances will be removed/reset to 0 on September 1st in preparation for the Fall Festival, more to follow.
