fishing Bait

So before the patch was implemented, one could say I want to take 10 bait out of cup A and combine it with cup B. Now that can't be done and its all or nothing when combining. Would be be possible to revert that one portion of the patch? I was planning on setting up a bait shop and sell cups of 50, 75, and 100 bait. Since the patch was release that's no longer possible. now if you set up a shop, you have to sell the item how it came and the numbers will be all over the place.

the changes to the bait being one and done while combining with the same type of bait makes me worried it might be the same if you are putting the bait on the pole. Has any tried it yet with the new patch? I am afraid of potentially wasting a whole thing of bait to test this.

i did use taking part of the bait out of a cut too in the past.
