Cannot Reproduce Criminal Pkilling without a request to report as pk

today a player named "Lady Alpha" killed my two non-criminal characters, he was cyan and turned criminal to kill me. when i died no request appeared to report him as PK, please I request that the two murders be added to the character 'Lady Alpha' and that it be investigated how someone can become a criminal and kill without being able to report it. this must be some bug.








usually:
someone that can be attacked = gray
criminal highlight color = gray
There's no difference....

so i changed one of those settings in my client:

Or is it possible you somehow attacked them first with an AOE spell or creature?

I don't know. Will have to be duplicated to be investigated. Since players can have multiple accounts, they could easily set up an environment to try to replicate this issue. If something can be replicated reliably then we know we have an issue. Otherwise, there are so many variables at play with notoriety it could equally be something the player overlooked in any one encounter.

Otherwise, I will test it out eventually when I get some free time.

AOE spells with pets in PVP situation (Felucca or nearby Guild member) can result in turning you grey. It happens to me from time to time, most likely resulting from a potential target (enemy) in range check. Not necessarily damaged but flagged.

When Barracoon is damaged by a player or pet, there is a large chance that the attacker will be polymorphed into the shape of a Ratman. If in Felucca, this will result in the target turning grey and as such become freely attackable by anyone. (Polymorphed pets do not turn grey)

The polymorphing can be prevented by wearing Savage Kin Paint or by casting polymorph yourself before Barracoon gets the chance (polymorphing into anything but a human male or female shape will also turn you grey).

Either way chalk it up to the risk factor of engaging in PVP content.
